23008 CMSD JW Stampley Reroof #14201

Clarksdale Municipal School District will receive sealed bids for a contract for the JW Stampley

Freshman Academy Re-roof located at 301 Washington Avenue, Clarksdale, MS 38614 as indicated in

the Contract Documents. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of a modified

bitumen roof with an aluminum coated spray foam top layer and replacement with a new PVC roofing

system. This removal and replacement also includes gutters, downspouts and fascia flashing.

The base bid will include roofing for the entire building, approximately 39,840 square feet. There will be

a deductive alternate to remove the gymnasium/cafeteria roof (7,908 square feet) from the project.

Bids will be accepted on a lump sum basis. Segregated bids will not be accepted.

Sealed or Electronic Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the

Clarksdale Municipal School District Administration Building, 526 S. Choctaw Street, Clarksdale,

MS 38614. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened publicly and read

aloud immediately after the specified closing time.

Bid Documents may be examined at the office of the Architect and are being made available via hard

paper copy (at bidder’s expense) or digital pdf at www.architecturesouthplanroom.com through Plan

House Printing and Graphics, 605 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804. Plan holders are required to

register via email address and order Bid Documents which are non-refundable. Questions and inquiries

Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with

the Instructions to Bidders.

Clarksdale Municipal School District expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive

irregularities.
